🇷🇺 Russia: High fraud risk
Many offers for this country are fraudulent. Do not pay until an independent check confirms the employer, the visa type and the job.
Reported in 2026: recruitment to Russia is new and fraud-prone. The government has cancelled agency licences over fraudulent sending of workers to Russia. Many offers use study or tourist visas, which do not allow work.
Status last reviewed 28 Oct 2026. Rules change quickly, confirm with BMET or the Probash Bondhu call centre (16135).
A new and small destination for Bangladeshi workers. Legal work needs a work visa issued on an employer's invitation and a work permit. A study or tourist visa does not allow you to work.
