Evidence standards & verifier code of conduct
A verification is only worth something if the evidence is real and the people collecting it are safe and independent. These rules apply to every task.
Evidence
- Photos and video are captured during the task, with device time and GPS recorded. Old photos, screenshots of maps or images sent by third parties are not accepted as site evidence.
- Phone confirmations use numbers found independently (official registers, the company's own website) — never numbers supplied by the recruiter.
- Official look-ups are recorded with the portal address, date and a screenshot.
- Every uploaded file is fingerprinted with SHA-256 so any later change is detectable.
- Each checklist item is marked Confirmed, Does not match, Could not confirm, or Not applicable — with a note. "Could not confirm" is an honest answer, not a failure.
- A second person (our QA reviewer) accepts or rejects every item before the verdict is set.
Verdicts
- Verified — Everything we were asked to check matched the documents.
- Partly verified — Some facts matched; some could not be confirmed. Read the findings.
- Could not verify — We could not confirm the key facts. Do not pay or travel until they are.
- Red flags found — Facts did not match what was promised. Treat this offer as unsafe.
Verifier code of conduct
- Independence: no current or past paid role with a recruiting agency, broker or employer being checked; declare any personal connection and step aside.
- Honesty: never pretend to be an official, police officer, journalist or job seeker unless the task explicitly allows a mystery-shopper visit.
- Safety first: no trespassing, no confrontation, leave if unwelcome. No task is worth a verifier's safety.
- No money changes hands: never pay, offer or accept money, gifts or favours.
- Privacy: photograph places and signs, not faces, unless a person consents. Share nothing outside the platform.
- Report harm: if a worker appears to be in danger, tell our team immediately so we can alert the right authorities.
Breaking the code ends a verifier's work with us, and fabricated evidence is reported to the authorities.
